Her birthplace is Jeolla, South Korea.
Education: Choong Chun Middle School, Korea High School of Music and Arts, Konkuk University
Speaks Korean, Japanese (basic), a little bit of English, and Mandarin.
When she was 7, Hyunah tried 50 auditions to become an actress, but she failed all of them. She grew an interest in dance when she went to high school.
Her parents are divorced.
Has two younger brothers.
Loves coffee and her mother owns a coffee shop.
Has multiple tattoos: one on her left shoulder that says “My mother is the heart that keeps me alive”, two other tattoos in Latin on her right inner arm and on her lower back, a cross on her left underarm, the Hebrew word for faith on her right shoulder and a red heart on the back of her right ear.
